1) NO DUDES. Sorry, this is Valentine's Day and I'm not looking for a Bromance. Any other day of the year I would have totally invited any one of my guy friends, but for once in my life I would like to spend Valentine's Day with a girl.
*Don't Worry Girls. I won't try any funny business.*
2) NO GIRLS WITH BOYFRIENDS. Again, I'm not trying to get in your pants Ladies, Just get your own loser boyfriend to take you.
3) You must be prepared to arrive on time, and not leave early. This will most likely be nearly 2 hours of Sparks glory. They are going to be playing two full albums from start to finish plus other hits, so I don't want a whiner wanting to go home after the first hour.
4) You can't be embarrassed of my dancing and singing along.
5) You must have a favorite Sparks song other than This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us.
6) If for any crazy reason I happen to somehow get a girlfriend, you must forfeit your ticket and date with me. Trust me, this is highly highly highly unlikely.

Things I Loved Before Beer Part 2

The year was 1986. I was a young boy just learning what a boner was. I couldn't wait until I was older and I could kiss women and touch their boobs. My fantasy girls were the Bangles. I would watch MTV just so I could see them. The strange thing was that it wasn't like I was a 6 year old kid fantasizing about making out with older babes, but rather I was dreaming about growing up and having a girlfriend just like a Bangle. Does that make sense? It's hard to explain.

I'm back from my week vay-kay to the East Coast. Arting it up in New York, room service stealing my lagers, record shopping, seeing India's face, chilling with Gaby, and so much more. It was such a great time. The best part was spending time Jason and Erin. It was just like the good times we spent just hanging out, laughing, and staying up late watching TV.

I would have liked to reported on the new fashion and architecture exhibition "Skin and Bones" at MOCA, but there was a line to get into the galleries of the museum. So I just redeemed my two drink tickets for one king of beers that was in some weird hybrid of a can and a bottle, and proceeded to watch the crowd of hideous old women in zany hats, obnoxious thirty somethings who imagine themselves as important socialites just because they have a $65 museum membership, and insanely fashion backward homosexuals (one who just happened to look like the SNL character Mango, but strung out on crack and recovering from a grizzly bear attack. He was not joking around).
I was entertained for about an hour.
